Eisenhour is made by one person, and that person reads every message. Most questions are answered below; for anything else, write.

Include your iPhone model and iOS version if it is about a bug, and what you tapped just before it happened. Expect a reply within a couple of days.
Your data
Where is my data?
On your iPhone, in the app's own storage. Nothing is sent to a server. It is included in your normal iCloud or computer backup, so restoring a backup restores Eisenhour along with everything else.
How do I back it up separately, or move it to a new phone?
More → Export data saves everything (areas, tasks, steps, focus history and cards) as one file you can keep in Files, iCloud Drive or anywhere else. More → Import data reads that file back in. Both are Pro features. Import replaces what is on the phone, so export first if there is anything there you want to keep.
What does "Delete everything" do?
It removes every task, area, step, focus session and card from the phone, and removes any calendar events the app copied out for you. It asks you to confirm. It does not remove your Pro purchase or replay the intro. It cannot be undone, which is why Export sits right above it.

Pro and purchases
I bought Pro and it is locked again.
On the Pro screen, tap Restore purchases and sign in with the Apple ID you bought it with. Pro also restores itself automatically the first time the app launches on a phone signed into that Apple ID. Nothing to keep, nothing to type.
Does Family Sharing work?
Yes. Once one member of your family group owns Pro, the others get it through Restore purchases.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple, not by us, so refunds are too. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase.
Why does the price look different from $29.99?
The App Store shows the price for your country and currency. The app always shows the store's number, never one we typed in.
Calendars
Why does the app ask for calendar access?
To draw the events already on your phone beside your blocks, and, if you are a Pro user, to copy a block out to a calendar of your choice. The app never asks at launch; it asks when you open the Calendar tab, or when you tap Copy to a calendar. Decline and everything else keeps working. You can change your mind any time in Settings → Apps → Eisenhour → Calendars.
My calendar events do not appear.
Open the Calendar tab and tap the banner to allow access. If you allowed it before, check Settings → Apps → Eisenhour → Calendars is set to Full Access. Then in the Calendar tab, tap Calendars and make sure the calendars you want are switched on.
I removed a block; is the copied calendar event gone too?
Yes. Editing or clearing a block updates or deletes the event the app created. Events you created yourself in other apps are never touched.
Focus timer
The chime did not ring when the phone was locked.
The lock-screen alarm is a notification. The first time you start a session the app asks for permission to send them; if that was declined, allow it in Settings → Apps → Eisenhour → Notifications. Focus mode and Do Not Disturb on the phone can also silence it.
The chime is too quiet.
The chime follows the ringer, not the media volume. Inside the app, Focus → the settings under the timer has a volume from 1 to 5 and a Max, plus how many times it repeats.
I forgot to start the timer.
Focus → Log time you already spent. Pick the area and the length; the area gets credit and your streak stays alive.
Everything else
A task disappeared.
Try Search on the matrix. Tasks with no quadrant live in the Inbox; done tasks live under Done. Tasks belong to areas, so check that the area filter at the top of the matrix says All areas.
Can I use Eisenhour on an iPad, a Mac, or Android?
The app runs on an iPad in iPhone layout. There is no Mac, Android or web version. Sync between devices is being thought about; see the roadmap.
